Chicken Liver Pate Recipe

Ingredients

Chicken Liver

1lb Chicken Liver

Bacon

1/2 lb Bacon

Garlic

1 clove Garlic

Onion

1 large Onion

Ground Mustard

2 tsp Ground Mustard

Salt

To taste Salt

Pepper

To taste Pepper

Milk

Splash Milk

Sherry

1 tablespoon Sherry

Instructions

1- Clean livers of sinews and gall.

2- Put into a fireproof casserole with all other ingredients roughly chopped.

3- Season and cover with milk.

4- Put the lid on the casserole and cook in a slow oven (300ºF) for 2 hours.

5- Liquidize in a blender.

6- Adjust seasoning.

7- Add sherry or brandy.

8- Put in a dish and cover with melted butte.
