

For frying Vegetable Oil

1 1/2 cup Cornstarch

1/4 cup Tapioca

1 cup Feta

1 cup Farmers Cheese

1 Egg

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

2 tablespoons Sugar

Pinch Salt

5 tablespoons Milk
1- Place all the ingredients, except the oil in a medium bowl and mix well using your hands until soft and smooth dough is obtained.
2- Form small balls using your hands.
3- In a deep pot, heat the vegetable oil to 300°F (Warm, not very hot).
4- Carefully drop the balls in the warm oil and fry for about 3 to 4 minutes or until gilden brown.
5- Remove from the oil and drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
6- Serve.
7- Frying Colombian buñuelos using the right temperature is very important.
8- The oil can't be very hot or very cold.
9- Be sure the oil is heated to 300 to 320 grades F.
