

2 cups Vegetable Oil

4 tablespoons Achiote Seeds
1- Heat the vegetable or olive oil and Achiote seeds in a small skillet over medium heat for about 2 to 3 minutes.
2- Don't let the seeds turn black.
3- Remove the skillet from the heat and let stand for 5 minutes more.
4- Strain the oil and store for up to 15 days at room temperature in a jar with a tight lid.
